Coante is based on a formula that ensures quartz particles, polyester resin, pigments and other raw materials perfectly overlap to create a completely void-free and homogeneous structure. Raw materials used in production are controlled according to very strict criteria by the Coante R&D Department, then mixed in special processes, placed in molds, turned into non-porous and compact slabs with the vibro-compression system, and fired. These slabs undergo different processes for polished or Touch surface options.

Coante is a very hard product due to its high quartz content. It is more resistant to scratches and impacts than all other countertop materials. To avoid potential damage, we recommend using a cutting board instead of cutting directly on your Coante countertop, not dropping heavy objects on it, and not placing very heavy items on it. Coante is resistant to short-term high temperatures, but you should use a trivet instead of placing hot pots and pans directly on the surface. Coante offers its products with a 15-year warranty backed by its manufacturing expertise and quality standards.

Do not clean your countertop with detergents containing abrasive particles, sponges with abrasive surfaces, or hard objects like steel wool. Do not use sharp pointed objects like metal spatulas or knives to remove dried stains. Do not expose your countertop to high or low pH chemicals and solvents. Do not allow heavy cleaning materials containing paint thinners, paint removers, thinner, oven cleaner, drain opener, hydrochloric acid, furniture cleaners, trichloroethane and methylene chloride to contact your countertop. Never apply protective or polishing chemicals to the surface of your Coante countertops.
